Primarily a residential community, comprised of single-family dwellings, with several low-rise condominium buildings and only two commercial properties. Redington Beach is bordered on the north by the town of Redington Shores and on the south by the city of Madeira Beach. It is bounded on the east by Boca Ciega Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway, and on the west by the Gulf of Mexico.
Redington Beach is a unique residential community nestled along the Barrier Islands in Pinellas County, Florida. Established in 1944, the Town of Redington Beach has approximately 828 households with a total population of about 1,680 people.

Yard Sales: The residents of the Town hold two annual yard sales – one in the Fall and the other in the Spring. Check with Town Hall for annual dates.
Solicitations: There is a Town ordinance that prohibits door-to-door solicitation within the Town limits without a Town-issued permit.Beach Parking Passes: Parking at Town beaches is restricted. Free Beach Parking Passes for Town residents are available at Town Hall. Additionally, Temporary Visitor Passes for guests of Town residents are also available at Town Hall.
Trash Collection: The Town has a contract with Waste Services, Inc. that affords weekly residential trash collection. The contract allows for “side yard” trash collection for up to two cans located at the SIDE of a home so the residents do NOT have to haul heavy cans to the street and back. Trash pick up days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Recycling pickup of paper & aluminum materials occurs on Thursdays.
Gulf Beaches Library: The local library is Located at 200 Municipal Drive in the adjacent Town of Madeira Beach directly across from the Winn Dixie store. The telephone number for the library is: (727) 391-2828. This is a full-service branch of the Pinellas County Library System. In addition to books, the library offers videos, cassettes, children’s story-time, various clubs, special interest events and Internet access.
